About this blog

This blog is a space for me to write about the less technical side of technology implementation and my perspective on it. The main goal of this endeavor is to equip myself and others with content that supports navigating the world of technology implementation. Don't get me wrong: The technical side is extremely important! But understanding legal, ethical, business or political aspects of technology, can make us techies much more effective and avoid frustration.

Going through the process of writing is my go-to method when acquiring and memorizing knowledge. Usually, such writing only lives in my notebooks, but I hope others might also benefit from it such that I decided to put this into a blog. This blog is very much an experiment, and I am excited to see how it pans out.

Finally, full disclosure: To make the blog articles as accessible as possible, my writing, research and edit is supported by GenAI (and you.com in particular).  In an effort to get a more formal understanding of the mechanics of technology implementation, I am following the Coursera course " Technology Strategy: Creative Destruction ".
